Local Residential and Commercial Interior Design Firm in Expansion Phase

Traverse City, MI, August 13, 2009 – The Inman Company (TIC), a locally based residential and commercial interior design firm, has decided to expand outward into Chicago, Illinois.

TIC president Shane Inman’s work has left footprints across the Grand Traverse region with a multitude of acclaimed commercial and residential projects, including the Hagerty Insurance Agency, the Law Offices of Gerald F. Chefalo, and various private multi-million dollar homes.

Inman looks forward to obtaining larger-scaled projects in the Chicagoland market that will broaden his capabilities and strengthen his design portfolio. “I’ve always found interest in my work in Chicago,” he says, “so I feel this is a promising venture. I look forward to enlarging my professional network and acquiring Chicago-based clientele.”

Inman is certified by the National Counsel for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ). He also holds a professional membership with both the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and is an adjunct professor of interior design for his alma mater, Michigan State University.
