Local Interior Designer Named Adjunct Professor for Michigan State University
Shane D. Inman Selected by Alma Mater to Instruct Advanced Design Students

Traverse City, MI, October 23, 2008 – Shane D. Inman, president and owner of The Inman Company, a locally based interior design firm, has been selected by Michigan State University to teach junior interior design students the real-life basics of interior design.

“It was not only a great honor to be invited to teach, but it is a privilege to be working together with my alma mater to educate future interior designers,” says Inman.

Through his extensive work in the total design of architecture, furnishings, lighting and art, Inman has captured the attention of a roster of discerning commercial and residential clients throughout the Grand Traverse region. His most recent accomplishments include completion of the recently awarded Ugly Kitchen Contest $35,000 kitchen giveaway and the new Eighth Street law offices of Gerald F. Chefalo.

Inman is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ). He also holds a professional membership with both the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
